At a packed coalition meeting of parents, concerned residents, school faculty and administration, and high school students, Milton Police Chief John King listened as community members expressed their opinions and concerns about underage drinking in Milton. The “Listening Session” included remarks by Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Rowe who provided her perspectives about how communities should respond to the problem, and shared a video explaining the Social Host Liability Law. Students provided honest and articulate feedback about why kids in Milton binge drink and ideas for stemming the problem. Chief King will be taking these perspectives into account as he considers new response guidelines for his department.
